Keynote Speaker ~ Daniel Jessup, Group Senior Vice President Young Life International
Dan began his Young Life journey attending club as a high schooler in Santa Barbara, California and started his relationship with the Lord there. He then attended Pepperdine University, where he was volunteer Young Life leader and met his wife Elizabeth. He then graduated from Pepperdine University in 1981 with a BS in Biology and went onto Princeton Theological Seminary, where he graduated in 1984 with a Masters of Divinity. Dan joined the Young Life staff in 1982 and has been an Area Director in Sacramento for 11 years and Colorado Springs for 2 years, Regional Director in the Pikes Peak Region (SE Colorado, New Mexico and El Paso, TX) for 11 years, Director of Leadership Development for Young Life in Africa, Asia and Latin America for 2 years, and most recently, the Senior Vice President of Young Life in Latin America and the Caribbean 9 years. Dan recently finished his Doctorate from Fuller University with an emphasis in Distance Leadership and now serves Young Life as the Group Senior Vice President of Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, the Former Soviet Union, Global Cities and International Young Life University. Dan brings a unique combination of 23 years of ministry experience in the USA and 13 years of international experience coupled with a strong theological and academic background.
Dan has been married 38 years to his wife Elizabeth, and they have 3 boys: Taylor, Kevin and Brian, who is married to Haley and had their first child in January 2020.
